God has much to say on the subject of gratitude and giving thanks. Is it any wonder hymn and song writers through the years have often waxed poetic about the subject of Thanksgiving?
But that’s not what this post is about. This is something I put together several years ago for a church bulletin. It is the Gospel of Christ in an acrostic for my favorite holiday.
As the title of this post implies, the poem is comprised entirely of hymn titles. I pray it will remind you of all you have to be thankful for in your life.
To God be the Glory
How Great thou Art
All Hail the Power
Nothing but the Blood
Kneel at the Cross
Glory to His Name
I Need Thee every Hour
Victory in Jesus
I am Bound for the Promised Land
No, Never Alone
Great is Thy Faithfulness
My you enjoy the blessings of our Lord this Thanksgiving and all year round.
What are you thankful for today?
