“My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother” Proverbs 1:8
Every parent on earth wishes their children knew this verse by heart – and followed it. Some of us children, as we reach maturity, wish we would have understood the truth of this verse when we were young and oh, so foolish (but thought we knew better than anyone older than us what was best for our lives).
